First of all happy Thursday, only one more working day till a nice three day weekend. Only I wish I was going to be a the lake or coast, but we are moving this weekend into a new apartment. I am really excited about it though. It is in the same apartment complex we live in now, but updated you konw, new carpet fresh paint, and my favorite WOOD FLOORS in the kitchen entry and bath!!! Yippe.

Well there is one good thing about this weekend and that is George Strait is going to be playing here in San Antonio saturday night. I can hardly wait. My mom says she took me to see him when I was about 3, the last time he played the rodeo here, like I really remember that. So this is going to be my first time to see him in concert. He has been my favorite singer all my life, and I am so lucky I get to go.

I guess I will finish some stuff up here at work before I go home and continue to pack up my life. Isn't it strange how much stuff you accumulate in just one year? Oh yeah and it is my day to go work out, this will make three times this week, which is good for me considering I haven't had any motovation to get after it.

Right now the hardest part is feeling hungry. Like I said, before if I was hungry at all, I ate and it is tough to train myself that I don't need to ALWAYS eat. But it was only for a few days and we barely made it inside the Texas state line. My friend who lives in Italy, was in Witchita Falls at Sheppards Air Force Base for training so we went down to visit him. We went to a Mexican Restaurant there and it was good. I was disappointed though during the trip. All four days I only saw maybe one person in a cowboy hat! I wanted to see some real Texas cowboys! July 18

I think the rest of my family is use to it and it does not bother them anymore. However, I remember my grandparents (my mom's parents) always scolded me and would tell me to call her mom. So...I will leave the long story for the blog entry so I can give you guys all the juicy details. But as you have already read on TexasJen's blog..The Ring had been purchased. It is in my apartment somewhere hidden that I don't know and have not gone looking for. It was important to him that it be a good quality diamond. So it is a .90 carat. VVS2, "F" color. The setting does not have any side diamonds or hoopla..more plain but not as plain as the regular settings they throw in when you buy a diamond these days. He asked my parents on July 4th. They thought it was a great idea and my dad said a few other things I have an issue with but I will blog about that in my big blog. He is trying to divise a way to ask me. I told him it need not be fancy or fairy tale but it sure as hell can not be me wearing the ring out of the store!!! So there you have it..were in a holding pattern. He does need to get it figured out soon though..He does not want to wait till next year to get married so....so we are kind of trying to see if we can pull off the last weekend in October! YIKES!!! You got the goods on me now!!! July 18

I always come back a little sore but this time..was different. As I said in my blog..I think I was sore more cause of my fall than branding. As "A" and I were talking last night about it he pointed out to me that on Sunday I was at full run more often and that I was on a much bigger horse so my little legs were spread more! My chest was sore since I was having to help flank calves So you have branding weekends too! I agree with the falling asleep in the tub part. Your hot, dirty, bloody and you just want to pass out! I too hope you are having a good week. You will have to tell me about your branding weekends and funny branding stories sometime! T. June 7

I went to games for the reason of watching PEYTON. He is one of the most talented QB's in the league right now! I have..COUNT THEM....3 picutres of him next to my computer in his Colts uniform and..ARE YOU READY.....9 of him in his VOLS uniform. One bobble head doll of him in each uniform. OBSESSED...MAYBE? You Rodeo too! Blows my mind away! I have not been doing it to long. I kind of got into the sport late but I am having the time of my life and my BOY TOY "A" has helped me a lot. I worked in San Antonio for about 4 months. I could not find housing and was looking in New Braunfels but decided not stay. I was managing what is now the Wydham Hotel off the riverwalk.
